This Week

The cooling continues this week in the Intel front as we see very little change in prices for all lines of processors. We expect prices to begin dropping soon, however, once Intel's recently announced price cuts begin to take effect.

AMD's line of processors also show little change in price this week. However we are surprised with yet another Athlon-C (266MHz FSB) processor - the 1.4GHz part. We also expect AMD to follow Intel's footsteps and announce a price reduction soon.

There is not much action in the video card segment this week. We see some slight price hikes in 3dfx cards and a slight drop in NVIDIA cards and the recently released KYRO II.
