Two more Acer announcements for you today. The Acer Aspire 7600U (27-inch, 35mm thick, 64-point multi-touch, 1080p) all-in-one and the Aspire 5600U (23-inch).

The 7600U swivels at all four sides and can be laid flat for multi-user tabletop multi-touch operation. The 7600U starts at $1599 while the 5600U starts at $999.

I will say, Acer's entire Windows 8 lineup looks pretty impressive. With top to bottom touch support and a clear focus on flexibility, this isn't the Acer we saw just a couple of years ago.

Announce = shipping? Not yet I'll bet.

Uh, Sandifop... Windows 8 doesn't come out until October. Try keeping up with the tech industry instead of just posting under your mom's account. Thanks.

Were really gonna do this? Were really gonna launch this garbage OS and huge touchscreen computers to paw at while hunchedover like cats chasing the cursor?

yes, we will, and it's awesome. it's a great os with a great user experience that now has to accept millions of haters like you who just don't "get it". everyone else will just enjoy the most polished and well designed os that's around right now.

Yes, I often find being forced to use a terrible tablet OS on my work PC to be truly a 'great user experience'.
