Although material on Haswell has been fairly light thus far, we have gotten a few gems. During this morning's keynote Dadi Perlmutter showed off Haswell GT3 (the highest end GPU config) running Unigen, and in the video below we have the same SoC running Skyrim.

Definitely looking good for mobile gaming. Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't there a new thing going around that's talking about using a dedicated/discrete graphics card long with embedded graphics to get even more performance? I can't remember where I saw it though...

AMD has asymmetrical crossfire, you can't use an Intel IGP though.

that'd be pretty intense if Intel could come up with a competing feature that would work for notebooks. Intel's computing power with a awesome integrated graphics combined with a discrete graphics card. Amazing dream I'm having.

If you mean Lucid Logix's Hydra, I read that's basically a dead end now since Nvidia didn't want to support it.

i remember reading a couple of years ago that Intel was also working on a software layer that could pool all the resources of all the networked computers together, but I can't seem to find a link right now.

The reason they are using laptop for haswell is because there is no GT3 graphics for desktop

Umm... Ivy Bridge is on the left, Haswell is on the right in a desktop chassis.

But the Haswell solution is a mobile reference platform -- i.e. not intended to be used in a desktop.
