AT&T Announces 7 New Live LTE Markets, 2 Expansions, 47 More Before End of 2012

AT&T has deployed the nation's largest 4G network…and today we continue to make that network even faster.
· This morning, we announced seven new LTE markets, meaning that AT&T’s 4G LTE network is available in 60 markets. As of today, AT&T 4G LTE is in more than half of the NFL markets (23 of 31) and 9 of the top 10 TV markets. The new markets:
o Syracuse, NY
o Bakersfield, CA
o Modesto, CA
o Omaha, NE
o Anchorage, AR
o Jacksonville, FL
o Bridgeport, CT
o Plus two market expansions: NYC-NJ, Washington D.C./Baltimore
· As we've said previously, we remain on-track to be substantially complete with our LTE build by the end of 2013.
· In addition, by the end of 2012, we plan to offer LTE in over 100 markets. Here are 47 of the markets where we plan to add LTE by the end of this year:

Correct, "Available" in this context means turned on today, but newly added. This list doesn't include previously enabled markets, I guess I should clarify that.If you have a SGS3, you can check whether you're on 5 or 10 MHz LTE channels by going into ServiceMenu by dialing *#0011#, then look under LTE BW. There's no way to do it on the HTC One X.

I should note that of the new markets, only Anchorage is is 5 MHz FDD. All the others are 10 MHz.https://twitter.com/WiWavelength/statuses/24376803...
